Step 1: Input Methods

Step 2: Customization Options

<li>Utilize default settings for a straightforward experience or configure options such as indentation preservation, handling of soft wraps (insertion of artificial line breaks), and maximum blank lines.</li>
<li>Manage multi-page and multi-file documents with options for header/footer removal and adjustment of blank lines per page break.</li>
<li>Select whether to save inputs, outputs, or both.</li>
<li>Specify a filename for saving or exporting the text output.</li>
<li>View text in either detecting or editing mode based on user preference.</li>

Step 3: Reviewing Recognized Text
The application facilitates text review on iOS/iPadOS with two-finger pinches to adjust font size. On macOS, users can utilize zoom buttons or trackpad gestures. Notably, portrait mode on iPhones results in smaller fonts compared to landscape orientation.

In data-detecting mode, actionable information is highlighted automatically:

Step 4: Distribution of Recognized Text
The standard share button enables users to share via AirDrop, iMessage, email, cloud storage services, social media posts, printing options, or copying to other applications supporting plain text files. For macOS users, an export button allows for saving files in any desired location through a Finder-like interface. The application also supports text-to-speech functionality when enabled in Accessibility Settings.

The current version specializes in recognizing primarily printed English text displayed upright and exhibits diminished accuracy with handwritten inputs.
